There are thirty teams in the NBA, with 15 teams each in the Eastern Division and the Western Division.
The Western Division is divided into the Northwest Division, the Pacific Division, and the Southwest Division. Each division consists of five teams.

The NBA was founded in New York on June 6, 1946. Maurice Podoloff was the first president of the league. His name is now printed on the league MVP trophy. When the league was founded, there were only eleven teams.

Each team plays a total of 82 games in the regular season

The Video Replay Center is powered by a groundbreaking on-field network, providing evidence for referee performance and decisions and accelerating the replay review process.
- How are the players selected for the All-Star Game?
The starting lineup for the All-Star Game is selected by fans around the world through voting through channels such as NBA.COM, NBA APP and social media.
The All-Star Game substitutes are voted on by the head coaches of the thirty teams. If a player cannot attend due to injury, league commissioner Adam Silver designates a player from other players to supplement the lineup.
If a starting player cannot attend due to injury, the head coach of the All-Star Game will select a player from the bench to supplement the game.
